There has been an on-going battle between Grab/Uber drivers and taxi drivers. Taxi drivers are complaining that Grab/Uber drivers are taking their customers and are making it harder for them to earn a living. The taxi drivers have protested – some have even gone to the extent of using violence to express their frustration.
In this video, I interview a budget taxi driver and also a Grab driver. This gives us a fresh perspective on the current situation as both drivers mention some things that are not well-known to the public.
