Hey you! Yes, you. Do you believe that you’re a very opinionated individual? One that believes in engaging in intellectual discussions and theological banter? Or perhaps you are interested in the happenings and whereabouts of the economy (not that ours is great in any way/shape/form at this current point in time *ahem*)? If you said yes to either one of the above, then you’re in for a treat. DurianASEAN, a local online radio station that’s all about ASEAN matters, has recently launched 2 new programmes: ASEAN Biz and KrossFire.

ASEAN Biz, the segment that’s about economy and finances of ASEAN countries, air on Mondays all the way to Fridays from 10AM to 11AM. The show is hosted by Andrew Chia, an international best-selling financial author, and Eric Chong, a business commentator. The hour-long programme will not only focus on the economy of ASEAN countries and all the big numbers and whatnot, but will also emphasize on the economy of other countries from time to time. If you’ve ever wanted to sound like an economy analyst but don’t have the means to do so, or just want to brag in front of your friends, then you should definitely tune in for all the latest updates on the economic world.

On the other hand, KrossFire, besides bearing a rather cool programme name, brings a new concept to the local online radio scene. From 6PM to 7PM on Fridays, you’ll be treated to top-shelf banter that comes in the form of people talking about whatever they want. Okay well not literally, but topics like sports, entertainment, personal stories, politics, opinions and the like are all welcomed. I’m sure a certain resident movie buff of ours will definitely be more than delighted to make an appearance on KrossFire. The show is hosted by Jun Shern and Shan, two down to earth fellows that are down for some lepak talk. If you’ve any “cool story, bro” moments, then KrossFire is definitely the place to let the world know.

Now now, we all know that online radio stations aren’t as popular as their more conventional counterparts, but DurianASEAN is definitely one you should tune in to whenever possible. Who knows, you might just learn a thing or two about ASEAN countries while tuning in, too. Find out more about DurianASEAN at the followings:
